Following is the Privacy Policy, for the website of Pure Insight. This policy was updated on April 3rd, 2006. Questions about this policy can be e-mailed to privacy@pure-insight.com. All information collected is owned solely by Pure Insight and is handled pursuant to this policy.

Networking
To facilitate networking and benchmarking among members a subscriber is asked to complete a profile indicating contact information, areas of expertise, interest and background as well as demographic data. This information is only shared with other subscribers and only by permission. At no time will email addresses, telephone number and/or postal addresses of subscribers be displayed, nor will contact information be shared or released to third parties unless at a subscriber’s specific request.

Demographic and survey data is only used in aggregate reporting to better understand our audience and improve user experience on the site and never on an individual basis.

Free Site Registration, Online Subscription Registration, Subscription Registration, and Newsletter
To access certain areas of this web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, e-mail address, postal code, Country). E-mail addresses are used during the initial setup of your account, in the delivery of service messages, requested information, and some products. Additionally, if a user requests their password, it is delivered in plain text to the address on file. Demographic data is only used in aggregate reporting to better understand our audience and improve user experience on the site and never on an individual basis. Online Subscriptions require additional information such as credit card number and billing address. This information is used for billing purposes and to process orders. In the event we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to make contact and resolve the issue. We send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on related products and services.

Event Registration
If a user wishes to register for an event, we request contact information (such as name and address) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process registrations. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. Event registants will occasionally receive information on related products and services.

Surveys, Questionnaires and Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or questionnaires (or contests). Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address), personal opinion and demographic information (such as postal code, age group, purchasing influence, etc.). A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user, such as an ID for site access. If a user rejects the cookie, they will be unable to login to our site to access premium content. We do not use cookies to store sensitive information.

Log Files
We use Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement on our site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing
Periodically we share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers, however we never share individual information. We use outside companies to invoice users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Site and Service Updates
We send users site and service announcements via email. Members are automatically subscribed to these service announcements, which contain important information about the site, user registration, or a subscribed service. Users may opt out of these service announcements by going to the my profile page and entering the email address which they would like removed, or by sending am email to privacy@pure-insight.com.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information and/or Preferences
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as postal code), or if a user wishes to change a preference or discontinue a service, we provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data. This can be done at the ‘My Profile’ page

Choice/Opt-out
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or bulletin may unsubscribe by replying with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line of an e-mail which should be sent to support@pure-insight.com.

Notification of Changes
Pure Insight reserves the right to change its privacy policy. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes prominently so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an e-mail.
